We are a University Technology Centre (UTC) from the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy at the University of Cambridge; one of over 30 Rolls-Royce UTCs located throughout the world. Made up of nearly 40 researchers (from Students to academics) from over 10 different countries, we research all aspects of the metallurgy of high temperature alloys; from the smallest length-scales investigating the atomic arrangements, right up to the response of the designed components in the turbine engine.
